To the Students

Hope all the Grade 7s and 8s are excited to start their poetry unit.  As we start to dive into our new unit, we will be working out of the with speaking to different audiences, word choice and reflecting on our work and the works of famous poets.  To get a jump start on the unit, start brain storming different ideas that you may want to write about in your upcoming unit.

Attention Parents:

For the next month we will be looking closely at the Media Literacy unit from the Ontario Curriculum in the classroom. Students will be looking at a variety of different advertisements and determining who they are for and why they look the way they do.  The students will be exposed to various videos of what happens to celebrities photos in post-production. I would also like the students to understand how much the media has an influence in our children's daily lives.

Hello Grade 7's and 8's,  I am your new student teacher Miss Clark.  I will be with you until the Easter break!  I will be trying to use a lot of technology in the classroom when possible.  I am here to make Language and History fun to learn and help you make sense of it all.
